[VAC] Re: Why Car & Trailer Battery to Univolt?

First- no such thing as a dumb question. You do need a circuit to
the car battery- most RVs just run a wire straight from the trailer/car
"pigtail" straight to the battery. The Airstream way was (fairly) typical
over engineering with a separate fuse/feed in the central location.

Depending on the new fuse panel layout- you could just dedicate
one of the fuses as a "car feed", with an appropriate (~30 amp) fuse. This
does hinge on the new fuse panel, though.
