[VAC] Gas Furnaces in RVs

Jill,

You are not incorrect.  RVs have contained propane-fired gas furnaces for
many years, back to the '50s I believe.  Installed propane furnaces have
provisions to allow combustion byproducts to vent outside.  Either the
caution you read is intended to warn against open flame heaters, those not
vented to the exterior, or possibly the caution is in regard to trying to
heat an RV with the stove burners.
