[VAC] Re: Strange Condensation

I primed over whatever paint was on there. I haven't had any adhesion
problems -- just the strange condensation. The only thing that I can figure
out is that I created some kind of dust while pulling the floor or wire
brushing the frame, or some other thing in the process of restoration. This
dust must have settled on the walls and ceiling and when the condensation
began, it turned into a brown oily substance. I don't know. It doesn't
sound like anything I've ever heard of, but I can't explain it any other
way.

I initially thought it was the paint separating, but since there's no
adhesion problem, I'm not leaning towards that conclusion.

All I know is that now that it's finally stopped raining, I have brown
stains running down the walls that will have to be cleaned off. I think
I'll do as suggested and use a flat for subsequent coats and wait until I
have most of the major rennovation complete before painting again. Oh, and
of course wait for some good weather.

Thanks everyone.
