Hi Cheyanne,

1 - Have you considered going to the Airstream dealer in Jackson, Mississippi? His name is Billy
Pollard, owner of RV Repairs & Service, 4749 Highway 80 West - (800)845-9901. You might call him
first about getting the parts needed to make a double bed on one side and vanity with 6 drawers and
a closet (with 1 drawer and 1 shelf in each closet) on each side of the vanity. This could be a
simple installation with components already made for the purpose - and at an economical cost. Our
31' Airstream has this floor plan.

Billy has several quonset hut type buildings with all manner of old and not so old component parts.
Plan on getting there early in the week if you want to participate in the hunt <grin>. Stay focused
on your goal and ignore the disarray of his place. 

2 - If you want to keep the frames to the twin beds and the storage they provide, here's an option.
For one side, buy and install a few storage components from Home Depot. On the bed side, use two
long pieces of foam 25" wide with two pieces of plywood 30" and 25" wide. Position the plywood
pieces so they overlap by only a few inches in the center. Place the two pieces of foam side by side
and you have a bed. The next morning, slide the 25" wide piece under or over the 30" piece and lay
one piece of foam on top of the other. This daytime configuration can provide walking space down the
center and sitting space on that side. At night, reverse it and you'll have a 52+- wide bed. 

Cheyanne, these two ideas are just that, nothing more. Use them, ignore them or perhaps they'll
prompt you to think of something that will work for you. Take your time while planning and make a
list of parts, then reflect for a few days before getting the parts. If you have someone to listen
while you explain the project, all the better. Best of all, that person will explain it back to you
and both of you will have heard the same story.
