The floor of the New Bambi is not particle board. It
is made out of OSB or Oriented Strand Board. 
OSB is an structural sheathing composed of wood chips
bonded together with phenolic resin ( like electronic
circuit boards). The OSB floor is one piece no seams.
I think is is something that Airstream  did right.
Particle board is sawdust with a ureaformaldehyde
binder. Besides being the worst material ever invented
it can out gas toxic fumes. Not good in an airtight
trailer.
