[VAC] Re: Window type AC instead of oven?

Tuna, any idea what your Onan 4HW genset weighs? When I had my 73
International I bought a 2500 watt Onan a fellow had pulled out of
something, a motor home I imagine, as the cooling fan vented out the
bottom of the fan shroud. It's an older unit and has the cast iron engine
rather than the alloy engines used currently. My genset is very heavy and
would be okay for charging batteries to support running a small inverter.
I doubt it's heavy enough to run AC -- I'll have to check the numbers.
It's also pretty bulky and would take up a lot of interior space that my
Tradewind doesn't have so I was thinking I'd leave it in the truck and run
a heavy line to the AC panel.
