One must remember that item 1 in the list above only lasted until now.
Restoration, making as original, may not serve the current owner as well as 
coming up with a better idea than the original.
When I started to work on my 66 Overlander I made a conscious decision not 
to restore it but rather to refurbish it. Restoration is good for museums 
but not for the average camper.
