[VAC] Window condensation
Bill,
Your comment: "thinking of upgrading to larger unit when we retire in a few years" caught my
attention. In my opinion, any work done on your trailer is likely to have very little impact on
increasing the value of your trailer when you upgrade to a larger unit at a dealership. End of
story.
Now, of course, if you'd like to join the rest of us who pour gobs of money into our Vintage
Airstreams because we love them and don't ever expect to recoup all the money we've spent on them,
then go ahead and tip the pitcher. But, chalk it up to a learning experience, not an investment
experience.
How's that for short and to the point? But, only take it for what it is - my opinion - nothing more.
=======
Having said all that, may I suggest that you take your time about deciding what represents
"upgrading." There are larger units around which may not qualify as "upgrading." Granted, quality
may be in the eyes of the beholder. Taking your time and doing your homework will increase your
ability to behold quality ("upgrade"). There are some practical realities not evident on first
blush. A good place for doing home work is Tom Patterson's website with his 13,000 entires of past
postings by VAC members.
