[VAC] Re: REMOVING PAINT GUN PAINTS

Latex paint can often be removed with warm water, it needs to soak for a
while. Use a hose ? The latex gets flexible, and the bond can be broken
and peeled off. If you use any paint stripper, you will remove the
clear coat. Maybe you already did. Aluminum does not like chemicals very
much, it will stain corrode and discolor. There is a thing called goop
off that might work, but it might hurt the clear coat. Also, the citrus
solvents might work. BUT you should test them all on a tiny spot where
there is already maybe a scratch before using it on a wider area. No
heat gun, it will discolor the aluminum.

Anybody else ?
