Is there a size or thickness of deadbolt that I should look for.  I assume
your talking about the frame that the bolt (latch - - piece that goes into
the door) is too big?  Have you heard of any creative solutions or do I
just figure that if the door has not flown off in 41 years that it won't.
I should also mention that the previous owner replaced the lock with a
Bargman type as the orginal broke
