Hi,

I'm getting ready to dig in on the semi-restoration of my 65 Caravel 17 
footer.  I'd like to get the outside looking better, but i don't want to go 
with a full mirror polish.  And actually the body shell isn't in perfect 
condition anyhow.

Is there a way to get it looking good, more like it would have looked when 
new?  Basically I think I need to strip the clearcoat off (Ugh!).  Is there 
any other option?
