Sarah:   I am not aware of the years when the aluminum skins made changes 
but I am confident your '62 will polish up to a mirror shine.  Not sure 
if yours had clearcoat on it and if so I would have to be removed before 
you polish.  Maybe some one else can speak up on the year clear coating 
started as well as the aluminum changes.
