Joe, I have a '97 Chevy 2500 pickup with the 454 and 3.73 axles. It is a 
beast, especially with the K&N Filtercharger installed. Even climbing the 
Colorado front range mountains, the truck travels with my '66 Overlander twin 
at highway speed. Also, the combo is good at mountain decents in second gear 
holding 6% grades at 50-55 mph. It get 11 MPG towing.
The Suburban version will perform comparably.
