Have you used the decapitating type rivet shaver? (www.airparts.com) 
They are calling it a rivet shaver used with microcounterstop.  It looks
like it adjusts so you don't mar the skin.  Can you explain how it
works?  This, as I understand it, is not to be confused with the Olympic
rivet shaver which beautifully cleans up the dome of the Olympic rivet
where the shaft nub is left. Hope you can shed some light.

 The advice to practice on scraps is great, like woodworking, starting
right in on your good piece leads to disaster.
