As Dr. J has pointed out, most hp/torque booster strategies only kick in at
higher rpms.. K&N air-cleaners do seem help your engine 'breathe' better,
and Mac Motorsports makes a pricier and even more efficient air filter...

Also, I agree with the good doctor that beefing up the rear axle gearing is
the most effective approach, with the smallest potential for increasing wear
and tear on your engine...
