They have yet to release the hitch design (late August?)  The listed
towing capacity is 5000# & 700# tongue weight, and I have seen the
hardpoints where the hitch will attach.  Manual says weight dist hitches
are OK.   The short/light Caravel hasn't shown any need for it on the
F-150 or the Bronco II that preceded it, though.

The only odd thing is that Mitsubishi recommends towing in 4WD
(un-locked dif) for "torque" placement.  Sounds like they want to keep
of all the torque load from just one-half of the drive-train.
