Will b watching THIS thread with MUCH interest, as I expect to have to do a
similar replacement & have a back prob.  I gather too that twin, sngl. &
dbl. "standards" for mattressess are probaly QUITE dimensionally different
from those generally marketed for home use (???).  (Would eventually go to
the issue of sheets, pads, other bedding, etc.)

Underlayment or support in these trailers would normally be plywood or
something akin?
