Michael, I would pull 1 wheel and check the bearings for lube, if it is OK 
then the others should go 60 miles also. As for the tires, inflate to max 
pressure and look for breaks, use a water hose to wet down while looking for 
air bubbles. If there are no bad cracks and no air bubbles I would go slow 
but I would go for it.
