Ah yes. This was most likly either the Mc pherson toilet made by hal 
mcpherson of chicago then FLA or it could have been a "pulverator" made by 
the rodgers company and was advertised as a garbage grinder as well as a dung 
chopper.  With the mcpherson one worked by water pressure and another had a 
electric motor 
Makes some sense rather that running a garden hose into the tank to flush 
away all the nasties
