Hal, instead of Fair Winds and Following seas, ............ You've got
yourself a Trade Wind.    243D195 .    Its 24 ft,   a 1963,  its a
Double,  and the sequence number is 195.      One other way to take that
cap off the water fill pipe.  The pipe is attached to the tank by a
rubber hose with hose clamps at each end.  Lift your couch back, and
take the plywood off, so you can access the fill pipe.   Loosen the hose
clamps, then remove the entire fill pipe, so you can submerge it in
penetrating oil, or put it in a vise, or heat it, or take it to a
machine shop, and let a pro do it for you
