Hi Phil,

The only time you will know the weight of
your Airstream is when you have the weight 
slip in your hand after you paid your $ at 
the certified weighing scale. Often, there 
are many a slip between the cup and the lip.

Friends of ours believed the factory data. 
They happened upon a weighing scale after 
they left the dealer's show room with their 
new Airstream still empty of everything.
Out of curiosity, they had it weighed. 

Imagine their surprise when it weighed 
500 pounds above and beyond the Gross 
Vehicle Weight Rating (maximum allowable 
fully loaded). It was 250 pounds over the 
Gross Axle Weight Rating on each axle 
before they added water or anything else.
