What horrible luck.  I cannot believe it.  I have a new truck and they said
to drive it 500 miles before you tow.  Two years ago, I had a factory
rebuilt engine put in a truck and they told me to do what I want.  You
should receive some instructions from SOMEONE as to the "break-in" period.
If not, call the people that built the engine and ask.  Be safe and know.
