While preparing to re-rivet the 2 lower panels
inside my '62 G.T. (at floor, to left and right of rear window) I noticed some
wiring which heads up towards the dome above the window. It's the circuit which
has the rear side marker lights, and the wires heading up into the dome are not
just crossing over to the other side. I can see that happen below. Were upper
marker lights an option for which most units were pre-wired, like wiring to the
rear vent fan?
Speaking of which, I was finally able to fish
those wires out. I found a taped-up bundle of 5 heavy gauge orange-insulated
wires. Why 5?. Who knows where they came from and where they go? I also noticed
the 110V wiring was accessible there, I assume for AC.
Thanks for the help.
