I just worked on that one myself, with a little advice from RJ.  Strip out all
the caulk across the back above the bumper box.  Slip in a closed cell foam
sealer (you will find this at your local Lowes, Big 'D' ,  or whatever) it comes
in strips 1/4 or 1/2 inch round and 10-20 feet long.
Anyway, fill the area with this foam - press it in with a blunt tool so you
don't break the seal on it - and then seal the whole thing with Vulcam which you
can purchase from Airstream Dreams at:

You probably have a problem with rotten floor in that area too.  It would be a
good idea to drop the belly pan at the rear of the trailer and check it out.
