[VAC] Info Wanted

Hi All,

I am trying to learn about the smaller Airstreams in order to figure out
which one would work out best for my family. My 6 year old has been wanting
to go camping, and I've always wanted an Airstream, so.....

I'd like to talk to someone about the different sizes of the smaller
Airstreams, like the Bambi's, or the 17' & 18' Caravelle, or the 19' Globe
Trotter, models. There may be some small Models that I don't know about.

Some of the questions I have are:

What years were they manufactured?
What is the dry weight?
What are the floor plans? I get the impression that there are many (!) foor
plans for each model over the years
What do you love about it?
What don't you like about it?
Is there a drop table that turns into a bed?
Are the aluminum panel seams caulked?
I've have no experience with Electric Brakes. What are the like?
How well do they tow?
Wonder how they'd tow behind a Jeep Cherokee with 4.2 liter automatic.
Do they all have black water tanks? If so, how large?
Was three way 110 vac/12 vdc/propane refrigerators standard?
Will they comfortably sleep two adults and a child?
I'd sure like to see some pictures of the outside and insides of the smaller
airstreams.

I bought the 1984 Airstream book and the more recent Airstream History of
the Land Yacht. They are good reading. I appreciate any input or advice.

Thanks,
