Re: [VAC] Park model?

Joe, what you have is an Overlander. It happens to be a standard Overlander
model without options. Standard for the Overlander was an electric only
refrigerator, an electric hot water heater, and only 2 12volt lights. The
black water tank, gas refrigerator, gas hot water heater, and pressure water
system (12volt air pump) were all options. The older units just came with
varying degrees of self containment. Black water tanks were not considered
absolutely necessary back in the 50's. When you camped where no sewer hookup
was available you just dug a hole in the ground and let nature take its
course. Airstream did not make something called a park model so please stop
using that term. If you need to call it something call it an Overlander
without the optional self containment group.
