Re: [VAC] Polishing w/DeWalt/sponge buffer pad

The fuzz was a real pain at first until I leaned to take a steel brush
and hold the polisher upside down and running it with the brush on
fibers, this removed a lot of fuzz fiber. . After I learned this I used
the steel brush method on new pads first and that helped a lot in
reducing the fuzz. The fuzz is a real mess and does a nice job on
carpets when tracked indoors and the black is like chimney soot and hard
to wash off. I used a plastic broom and was able to pick up the fuzz by
just dabbing and it stuck to from fibers and was fairly easly to wipe off
(besure and wash the broom before you use it on a floor however) The only
question I would have about the foam is how well it will pick up and
absorb the oxidation as is loosens, particularly on the pre-polish phase
I learned that if I polished enough and in the right "manner" I could
pick up a lot of residue in the pads which lessened the wipe off
procedures considerably. Of course it required changing pads more often.
