At one time (may be still doing it), Winnebago made a laminated "sandwich"
wall material. They bonded an aluminum skin, foam panel, and inside wall
surface panel all together, then machined that panel to fit the vehicle and
bonded the ends together at the corners of the vehicle.

It was a unique way of making the walls years ago when I saw this (probably
on a TV ad, or maybe a product demo spiel somewhere). I think they had
patents on the process.
