I am working on restoring my '62 Safari, getting it road-ready. The
original owners apparently never dry camped with it, and never used the
fresh water tank. The aluminum fill-cap seems to have never been
removed, and has welded itself onto the fill-pipe. Has anyone had a
similar problem that they solved? Or any suggestions on how to separate
cap from pipe. I have tried Liquid Wrench and and 18" pipe wrench to no
avail.
