Regards battery case venting, the gas given off in charging is lighter than
air, I believe, so a vent through the bottom of the case will not do the
job.  I vented ours through the top side of the case to the outside.
Requires a vent fitting on the side of the trailer, but that is what physics
dictates. - Martin, 61 Safari.
