Re: [VAC] Air conditioner for '62 19' Globetrotter

Hi Bruce and #8 item re: Terry,
May not be relevant in the SE, but it was 108-110 in the SW past two
days. This year have flat 10 x 20 solid silver tarp shade on 3/4 x 10'
conduit with 6 x 25 gray shade cloth protecting most of South and West
exposure. (last year only a 8 x 16 tarp 10' high lowered temp. w/o a/c
10 degrees). Put grommets near center to drain the rain, not directly
onto a/c or vents. Can send photo off line.
My "obsolete" Armstrong a/c maintains 80 - 85 degrees.
For those in the SW an additional misting system from WalMart worked
terrific at further lowering the temperature (last year) in the a/s,
also removed vertical streams of the clear coat and made my tow
vehicle's windows useless.
Small price to be cool.
