I installed a new lock and a deadbolt in my '63 Bambi. The Weiser deadbolt
from Campers Choice (http://www.camperschoice.com) has a long enough throw.
It has a thumbscrew on the inside and locks with a key from the outside. It
was only about $18, and I actually did it myself. Pretty easy. I put in a
new Bargman lock from there too. I'm always by myself (well, except for Sam,
the rottweiler) and feel very secure with both locks.
