I think the fire codes may require that a modern fire extinguisher be
color coded to match the classes of fires its capable of handling, hence
the yellow or red color and making that into chrome would be a violation
of those fire codes.
A yellow or red fire extinguisher could be placed in a chrome or
aluminum cabinet for better decorative match to the AS.
