Re: [VAC] SHORE POWERE QUESTION

I just checked the latest National Electrical Code. The current 30 amp
120 volt plug has two flat prongs at an angle and the ground is a half
round prong.

All three flat may be a 30 amp 240 volt three wire plug. Especially
since both sides seem to be fed to fuses in the Airstream. Modern
120/240 plugs have four prongs with a separate one for ground and for
neutral for greater people safety. The one for RV is a NEMA 5-30. Its
also the modern plug and receptacle for electric clothes dryers and
ranges.
