RE: [VAC] SHORE POWER
Hello Dan,
You could use this as a guide.
1. Computer: 500 Watts
2. Printer: 1,000 Watts (Laser Heater) Recommended Circuit at 100 to 127 V
is 8 Amps. This is the worst case for the printers, others are less. See your
manual.
3. A/C: 1200 to 1500 Watts
4. Lights etc.: 1000 Watts
Total: 4,000 Watts (Power Factor?); therefore the
actual current would be about 35 Amps. This is probably
the worst case estimate.
The maximum American Wire Gage (AWG) Maximum for
10 Ga. is 30 Amps. The resistance for 100 Feet is
0.09989, the voltage drop is insignificant.
All wiring, connectors, etc can be purchased at Home
Depot or buy from the RV shops.
Did this quickly, hope my memory was working
Regards,
BudJ
