I have a 75 Argosy and love it.  I think the paint is an advantage as far as
upkeep.  They are less expensive to buy, have nearly all the same quality
and you can be a WBCCI member, which wasn't always true.  Also, you are
getting a vintage trailer for VAC membership!  I think the quality that they
used, which was less expensive in the 70's, has turned out to be more
pragmatic in the long run.  I have the tambour sliding doors and very
lightweight materials, as opposed to the real wood (heavy) interiors.  So
you put new carpet and gorgeous drapes and linens - everything else is for
storage, anyway.  And the 24' length is easy to tow.  The bath is roomy,
too.  Good luck on the condition, and don't pay the big price.
