Argosy is/was? made by Airstream. You are welcome in the VAC and the WBCCI
clubs with either. At first I thought that Argosy's were "a poor man's
Airstream" but a long time Airstream mechanic set me straight. They may have
been cheaper, but Airstream was looking for a way to introduce new
ideas/techniques and decided to do this with Argosy instead of Airstream. I
really do not think that there is a great difference between the two and I
have never heard anyone imply that Argosy's were of any less quality than an
Airstream. Feel confident with either! Tandem axle trailers are just a bit
more difficult to back up, but are more stable at highway speeds.
