[VAC] Re: air conditioner pans
If there are archives re: Airconditioner pans, I apologize for
the redundancy.
I am in the process of rebuilding a 1982 AS/Isuzu MH and need to
replace both air conditioners. I wanted the Coleman High
Efficiency model (10 amp current draw). The local shop doing some
of my work say they can only put in a Dometic as it requires a
new revised drain pan from Airstream and pans for Dometic are all
that is available.
Anyone know of a pan that will fit the Coleman that will allow
internal condensate drain?
If not, I guess my choices, if I want to use the coleman, is to
drain condensate on the outside or pay $150 to A/S for a Dometic
pan. To further complicate it, local A/S dealer doesn't want to
bother with ordering me a pan unless he gets the Air conditioner
job.
