Airstream did not use a vapor barrier in the
construction because two inches of insulation does not
have enuf r-value to change the location of the dew
point in the floor section. In other words moist hot
trailer air will condense back into water below the
plywood . If you put a vapor barrier under the plwood
the water will collect  there and keep your plywood
wet.
