[VAC] Thanks to the Jerry and Jim

Thanks guys for the help with the gas appliances.. I understand your
suggestions perfectly and will try them out.

I may have found a gem here although I am spending more that $145!
Happily the skin is Dent Free and I mean everywhere. Quite frankly I
don't know how they did it! I am Terrible (at this point) at backing
trailers, and am determined to get good at it to continue the previous
owners legacy.

The Big Project on this trailer is ... Polishing!
It's in great shape with no coatings and Begs to be buffed out. I am
young strong and stupid so I'll try this myself later this spring.
Actually I know alot about polishers and abrasives and working metal. If
it doesn't kill me, it's bound to make me stronger!

The "headliner" inside this unit seems to have been hand painted white
some time ago. There seems to be no problem with cigarette smoke. What
would be underneith this paint?
(No I am not going to attempt to strip it!) is there insulation or
anything under the panels? I am tempted to remove these in my
restoration and replace them with something more original or at least
appropriately refursurfaced. I am great with rivets (even hot ones in
boiler making!). If I should be warned against this attempt
let me know

I read about Zolotone interior finishes, is this that old
speckle-spatter paint finish from the 40' -50's? They would have a
rotating spray head with about three colors and run through a room and
Every thing got it! Cream, off white, and tan were the popular tones,
resulting in a speckled textured finish quite apalling! I worked in an
old radio station in which this was done.Even the console and racks were
covered! Very scary, yet charming in a kitchy kind of way.

I sure appreciate the input and advice!

Thanks again in advance!
