I have never been in an RV fire,but have seen 'em . I'm making the mod on the 
principal of " have it and not need it , rather than need it and not have it 
" .     I have done alot of RVing in the past. Most fires are due to 
carelessness or lack of mantainance(mostly simple cleaning on gas appliances)
