Two options that I know of: The first is to patch it with fiberglass and 
paint it.  This is what a lot of people have done and is cheap and will last 
a good long time. The second is to cover it in duct tape (to stabilize), 
drill out the rivets and take it off.  Then take it to a sheet metal 
fabricator in your town and have them make an aluminum copy.
