[SilverStreak] replacing a floor in the Silver Streak

I'd like to put this to the list - has anybody replaced the entire floor? I've
been mulling it over for about a month now and the best technique I can come
up with is:

- use 5/8" marine plywood,
- remove the lower inside wall panels
- remove 1 side of the exterior band (the band overlays the belly skin and the
exterior walls)
- lift up the bandless side about an inch
- slide each piece in from the outside.
- fasten to frame, fasten wall plate to plywood
- reassemble.

This is assuming the exterior wall panels do not extend further down than the
wall plate.
Haven't thought exactly how to go over the plumbing either.

Sometimes I think the easiest is to pull the body off the frame -- however
this makes my stomach do one of those flips.

Anyhow, any thoughts on this matter are most appreciated.
I really enjoy the information passed to one another on this site and glad to
be a part of it.
