Now that DOT requires a 17-place alphanumeric on every titlable vehicle, no more of the ambiguities? Too bad this was not done decades ago. My '08 (actually made in March '07!) Az-Tex 28' enclosed cargo trailer has only a sticker on the lower left corner - no frame stamp anywhere.
