[SilverStreak] on the magnet latches

Joe,
Generally if the magnet catches are not broken at the mounting tabs, you
never have to replace. Likely the tabs will break as you try to drill the
rivets, or when you re-fasten. Just put some duct tape on the ceiling after
affixing to a doubled paper towel. Use this as a spray shield and just flood
them and jiggle while spraying with WD 40. Use it as a rinse with drip and
spray catching towels strategically placed on the cabinets and floor.

Save all that work. Spray, wiggle, jiggle, and spray some more until the
little magnets get loose, floppy, and independent in the plastic holder. You
are simply spray-washing with WD 40, a mild solvent soap substitute. You
will see it works. The WD eventually will evaporate it after finishes
dripping. Mild Dawn or Dove will clean up around it and the ceiling. Rinse
with rather wet terry towel and wipe dry.

If you can get so loosened, the pair of independent moving magnets can flush
contact the metal latch, the magnet set will hold the door.
