Re: [SilverStreak] (Fwd) Help re Removing toilet platform

Bev

I can tell you how my 71 SS Saber 23' platform is installed. There are wood
rails screwed into the side and rear walls and a face plate on the front of
the platform, the top or lid of the platform is screwed into the wood rails
and the top of the face plate. I had two lines, hot and cold, that go around
the black water tank that had to be replaced. My platform was rotted, and I
made a new one from 3/4 ply after replacing the copper lines. It helped to
remove the side of the sink cabinet and clothes closet. All done with a
screwdriver.
