Bev, No, been there done that and it ruined the job and the tool. Ed sent me another at no charge and I felt so bad I sent him the money anyway. The tool comes with easy to use instructions. Rivet nut is aluminum, soft, and can be stripped so important to follow exact compression tightening instructions. Buy the Rivet Nuts from Ed. He is the best price and will send you a grade 8 puller with each size of the bag. Ed even sent me the drill bits for each, in the bags. Easy to use, easy to install, just think aluminum, slow, and not hard work. Don't over tighten anything during installation and whatever you are fastening. Remember, aluminum = soft. Assemble things with Vaseline, grease or anti-seize. You will later be glad you did. I don't know if he still sends the drill bit, but he is just a really nice guy. Call him. Tell him about us and me. He is so nice and will really help you. I am more than very happy with what I bought and who he is. You will also find another surprise when you order. Just call him. -Eddie- Houston, TX
