Our 34 gallon fresh water tank is directly over the axles, almost in
the center crosswise, so it doesn't significantly affect the balance. I
do dump the holding tanks at the first opportunity. I put a couple of
gallons plus deodorizer in each tank to slosh around as we travel
except if it's below freezing outside. Seems to help prevent
concretions in the tanks.
