[SilverStreak] Colloidal silver

Colloidal. Where does one get that? Third world water filters use that, 
along with 'activated' charcoal. How does one activate charcoal?
Vinegar does seem tastier than bleach, but a teaspoon of bleach in the 
water is a normal safety thing in the back country of Kenya or Afghanistan.

But, we are talking about keeping algae down, not killing amoeba or 
bacteria here. Oui?
