Re: [VAL] Flickering Night Light



Depends on the type of night light.
If it is a neon light. It could be due to age of the light.
If it is a standard 7 watt bulb then yes it could denote a power problem or
the bulbs are about to burn out.
If the outlets are powered from the converter/inverter it could indicate the
inverter is having problems. If your batteries are good and the outlets shut
down when you disconnect shore power then it may denote a loose connection
somewhere in the power system.

I think most if not all converter/inverters work by converting 110 volt AC
to 12 Volt DC then invert the 12 volt dc to 110 volt ac so even when your
plugged in to shore power you still get that conversion/inversion of the
power to those outlets and if one or part of that process is in trouble you
will get power problems to those outlets but not to the ones that don't
remain powered on when you disconnect shore power when your batteries are in
good working order.
